A FEW DAYS HAS PASSED AND THE CAR WILL NOT START.I LAST TRIED TO START THE CAR,AND I WAS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO TURN THE KEY COMPLETELY OVER TO START CAR.ONLY TO ON POSTION.TWO ATTEMPS WAS MADE AGAIN ONLY TO ON POSTION NOT ENOUGH STRENGTH. DASH LIGHTS WERE ON.THIRD ATTEMPT THE IGNITION ENGAGED. CAR WOULD NO LONGER START.NOW WHEN YOU TRY THE KEY IS PUT IN IGNITION AND I TURN KEY COMPLETELY, YOU HERE NO SOUND AT ALL. STARTER WONT ENGAGE. LIGHTS ARE ON. BUT SECURITY LIGHT IS FLASHING.

ANSWER: Hi Toni:

Sorry about your car.  It sounds like the antitheft system has engaged due to the damage to the lock cylinder.  I need to know if you have a little black chip on your key or not to tell you accurately what needs to be done.  That will help me understand what system you have in your car.  I will watch for your reply

Answer
OK Toni:
You should replace the lock cylinder on this vehicle to make it easier to turn the key.  That repair will run between $75 & $200 depending on who you get to do it and what parts you buy yourself.  If you are comfortable with that aspect and don't want to spend that much, I can direct you to our website with instructions on how to bypass the security system so the car will start.

This will trick the car into thinking the lock and key chip are ok and will engage the starter whe you turn the key.

Here you go.
