Steering Column Repair: Where does lock cylinder plug?, lock cylinder, wire connector

Question
I had to replace the heater core in my 96 cav, In the process I unplugged a 3-wire-connector. I cannot find where to plug it back into, and so I think this is why it will turn but not run.

Answer
Hi Josh:
Some lock cylinders have a long 24" wire that plugs into the instrument cluster.  Others have a small 2" lead that plugs in right at the column where the lock cylinder slides in.
Those are your 2 choices and yes, that's the reason your car will not start.

Good luck
Doug
