Towing Issues: Handicap Pss, handicapped parking permit, handicapped parking space

Question
Can I be towed from private property if I have a handicap pass in Virginia

Answer
Just because you have a handicapped parking permit does not relieve  you of parking legally or correctly...

This issue has so many variables in it that it becomes hard to follow in the State and City laws..  Add in the rights of the property owners and it becomes a total nightmare...

In some places you can park at pay parking meters and not have to pay when the permit is displayed, some areas do not allow that.. It all depends on the various laws.

I really have no answer for this kind of question as I do not know what the whole issue is...

Parking in a fire lane with or without a handicapped pass is a towable offense...
Parking in reserved or assigned spaces gets towed...

Blocking another vehicle you can get towed...

But in a nut shell the handicapped permit "ALLOWS you to LEGALLY PARK in a Handicapped Parking space"
