Toyota Repair: Driver door not opening, middle pillar, model toyota

Just after I deployed, my wife locked the driver door, and it won't open or unlock. I imagine something's loose, but can't figure out how to get the inner door panel off or how to repair it since the door cannot be opened.

The door panel can be removed but it's a real pain without being able to open the door, the door panel may even suffer some damage, remove the door sill plate on the bottom, remove the middle pillar covers and the front kick panel, they all just pop off, it helps to remove the seat, then the panel can be removed but depending on what model toyota it is there are screws that have to be removed under some plastic covers or in the armrest as well as the inner door handle, what year and model is it, maybe I can help more.
