Toyota Repair: Electric Sliding Door, salvage yard, toyota service

2001 Toyota Sienna LE Van. Electric sliding door on passenger side quit working. Tried all Troubleshooting tips in manual then took to local Toyota dealer who said door's ECM (electronic control module)no good, wants $700 to repair.

My question: I have bought an ECM from a salvage yard (6 month guarantee) Do you think most reputable outside shops would be qualified to do this repair?

Probably yes, it's just a matter of removing the paneling in the rear and removing the old computer and installing the new one. Make sure the follow the reset procedure to re-initialize the system, there is a toyota service bulletin on this so let me know if you need it.
