UK Car Repair: Power window stuck, stomp on, jiff

Question
Hi,

A few months ago I was going through a Mcdpnald's restaurant and hit one of those big yellow pillars with my drivers side rearview window. Right after it happened the drivers side window would be a little slower than the rest of the windows to roll down, but now, it won't move up or down at all.  All the rest of the windows roll down and up OK. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance,
Angie

Answer
Angie, you squished your window channel when you beamed one of Ronald’s yellow poles. The mirror is attached in an aria directly in contact with one of the window tracks. You also may have burned out your window motor now that it has had to overcome the squished track. In my opinion you should cuss out the manager for moving the stupid yellow pole to close to your car! Stomp on the clowns big toes too!

Take it into a body shop and tell them what happened and they will fix it in a jiff! Assuming you need a new window motor or switch it will probably cost a hundred pounds or so. Maybe a little less if your charming and bring the shop guys coffee!

Good luck and Happy Motoring!

Regards,

John
