Volvo Repair: brakes, rear caliper, volvo 240

Question
Dear Mr. Regis,

I own a volvo 240 stationwagon and i have a problem with the brakes. I don't know how to express it in English terms, but air has gotten into the brakelines and i can't find the way to get it out. I know this sounds like i'm an idiot, but i've done this before in other cars, only by this one, i can't find the air removal valves... .Please help me out because my mechanic is an idiot. If you could tell me step by step how to fix this problem, i would be gratefull!

Impantiently waiting for an answer,
Rik.

Thanks in advance Mr. Regis, no one i know can fix it and i hope you can help me! Greetings from Belgium!

Answer
on each caliper is a bleeder valve unless they have all been broken off.you will need someone to push the brake pedal then you will need to loosen the passenger rear caliper bleeder valve after fluid stops coming out tighten the valve then tell the person to let off the pedal.they need to hold the pedal down till you tighten the bleeder valve and then tell them to release.if they let go while it is loose you will pull air back into the system.do this several times until you see no air come out.then do this for the drivers rear then the passenger front then do the divers front wheel last.be sure to check the fluid in between doing each wheel so the fluid does not go too low.
