Buick/Olds: window control, buick century, control switch

Question
 I have a 1990 Buick century, All the individual window controls work (4-door) however the drivers door control will not opperate any window. I tried replacing the control switch but that did not solve problem. I do not have owners manual or repair manual. All fuses are good, any suggestions as to what to look for. Thanks

It sounds as if the wires that come from the driver's door throughout the rest of the car have either become severed or the wires may have gotten wet and corroded.  The easiest way to regain control is the run the wires individually under the carpet or where ever is out of site.  The only bad part is that you'll need to remove all four door panels to access the windows power.  in doing so, you may find your problem.
