GM-GMC: 1996 Chevy Truck, fuel pressure regulator, crank sensor

TRUCK WILL NOT START NEW COIL GOT FIRE NEW FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR HOLDING PRESSURE PUMP PUTS OUT ABOUT 60 LBS NEW PLUGS ROTOR DISTRUBTER.ENGINE SPINS OVER PUT WILL NOT RUN.ONCE YOU RELEASE THE KEY THE ENGINE SPUTTERS A LITTLE.I KNOW I HAD A BAD FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR BECAUSE THE PRESSURE WOULD BLEED DOWN VERY FAST.I TRIED STARTING ENGINE WITH STARTER FLUID BUT NO LUCK.WHAT AM I MISSING?

If you are sure that your fuel pressure is at 60lbs and is delivering the proper quantity of fuel , your cap, rotor, plugs and wires are installed in the correct place and are in good condition you really are running out of things to try.  Try cranking it over, then remove a plug to see if it is getting any fuel to the cylinders.  After that the next step would be to instal a scan tool and check the crank sensor and ECT sensor and a few other things.  Unless you have access to a scan tool you may be forced to take it to a garage that does.  But please don't use starting fluid anymore, you can do some serious damage with that stuff.
