Honda: 1992 Honda Accord, radiator cap, honda accord

my car is running hot when standing at a red light.  But when I take off the needle goes back to normal.  The car smells like it is running hot.   Please help

Make sure that your fan is working let your car sit and idle with the ac off.One of the fans should run intermittently.With the ac on both should run and check your radiator cap for damage take it off while the engine is cold and check the seal on the bottom for cracks or damage.You may also have your system pressure checked.
