Honda: Honda EX 3.0 w/leather vs 2.4 EX, premium fuel, honda accord

Question

Thanks you for your response.  I have a few mor questions if it's ok.

Is there a difference in the way the two handle and if there is in what way.

Also the specs for the V6 say that it takes regular unleaded gas.  Someone told me that the V6 should actual have premium gas for better performance.  Is this true - does it really need the premium gas?

Thanks

Hi,

I'm considering purchasing a new 2005 Honda Accord Sedan and have 2 questions.

Would you recommend the V6 over the 2.4 and also is there much of a difference in the cost of repairs from the V6 to the 2.4.

Thanks in advance.
Answer -
Honestly, if you don't know which engine you want, then the four cylinder will probably do just fine.  Although, you must think about your driving style.  As far as the cost of repairs, there shouldn't be a huge difference.
Happy trails.

Answer
Well,
If the literature accompanying the car does not say that you need a premium fuel, then I would not bother spending extra money.  You can do a little test after you've purchased the car and check for any performance difference.  There will be a significant difference in acceleration, but probably not in handling.

Good Luck,
B.
