Honda: WET CARPET, wet carpet, water leaks

Question
I HAVE A 2001 HONDA ACCORD V6,4 DOOR.WHEN IT RAINS WATER LEAKS ON THE PASSENGER SIDE FLOOR  BY THE FEET UNDER THE GLOVE COMPARTMENT.DO YOU KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO FIX THIS ISSUE.THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Answer
I had a 1988 BMW 325 with the same problem.
Step 1.  Drive-through car wash.  Look for water coming in.  If you don't see anything...
Step 2.  Get a friend to spray a hose at the bottom of the car up toward the place that gets wet.  You could be getting water from the floor.
Step 3.  You have an A/C drain hose that drains "A/C sweat" in the form of water to the exterior of the car.  If that gets clogged, which it does, you'll get water inside the car...exactly where YOU have it.  If you can find the hose, check to see if it's clogged (unless you know for sure that it's caused by rain).  Otherwise I'd take it to a dealer for repair.

Sidenote.  My brother had a 1998 Prelude that leaked after an accident.  The insurance company ended up totalling his car.  If you've had body work done, I'd look into that.
