Hyundai: Hyundai Sonata 1995, mass airflow sensor, transmission control module

Question
Sir, I recently bought a used Hyundai car and i think there are problems in the car.
1. Sometimes i find it difficult to shift gears especially if i park it on a hill.

2. The other problem is the car shakes a little when i apply brakes. But if i depress & let go the break pedal about 2 times before coming to a full stop, sometimes it doesnt shake.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Chaminda

Answer
Hey Chaminda, sorry it took so long ot respond to your anwser.Alot of Hyundais especially the Sonata have this problem. The Automatic transmissions may suffer shift shock or harsh shifting when accelerating from a stop due to a problem with the transmission-control module. If the transmission slips or will not go into fourth gear, the end clutch needs to be replaced. And if your vehicle likes to stall, that could be caused by problems with the wiring to the mass airflow sensor. The brakes may pulsate under light application, you might just want to buy new brake pads. If not then it could be our tires.
