Mazda: 1993 Mazda 626 and mileage, warranty problems, mazda 626

I am interested in buying an used 1993 Mazda 626 with 105,000 miles,4 doors, sun roof, power windows & doors, leather interior for $2,900. I listen to the car and it sounds okay, no noises. I looked under the hood and it looks like it has a few new parts added to it.

I want to know if this is a good buy? What things should I check before buying this car?

Jennifer, that is a lot of miles but Mazdas hold up well IF they are maintained properly.  I would go to edmunds.com and use their service to check on Warranty, Problems, Recalls and possibly damage to that specific vehicle.  You will also need the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) which is located on the dashboard on the drivers side.  I would also take it to a mechanic you trust and pay him to carefully check the vehicle.  Thanks for the question and the best of luck to you.  Bud
