Mercedes: 1996 E 320, mercedes e 320, coolant recovery

Question
Two questions, #1 how do I access the blower, heater motor, on the mercedes E 320 because I'm not getting any heat or A/C.  #2 How do I remove the cap to put in antifreeze, I've tried pushing down and turning, no luck, I can turn the cap per directions a half turn but it will not release

Answer
The blower motor is buried in the dash.  The inactive system may be because of low freon. There is  a low pressure cutoff  for the system. Or you may have a blown fuse because the blower has drawn too much current.
The AC is used by the heating system when the defrost is engaged, to provide dry air to the inside wind shield.
I would just add the antifreeze to the coolant recovery tank.
Good Luck
