Mitsubishi: Trouble w/ Automatic in Spyder, quarts, spyder

While driving 1st went to 2nd no problem ... going to 3rd, it revved up to 6 and went dead ... now I don't even have reverse ... is that a censor or do I have to replace the whole transmission?

This could be a low fluid issue and all transmissions are prone to leaking. Before we condemn this one, check the level. Remember, that transmission holds about 9 quarts full. If the level is good, then unfortunately, you'll need to have it overhauled.
