Nissan: 2007 MURANO VIBRATION, better mileage, gmc envoy

Question
QUESTION: I also have a slight but very fast vibration on acceleration that diminishes with the foot off the pedal but is back every time I accelerate. The car is 2 months old and from other owners postings, this seems to be a relatively common occurance. From your investigations is this mainly from the engine/CVT area andwhat can be done about it.  My fingers get a numbing experience from all this anoyance.

Thanks,
Seymour
ANSWER: You have to take it back to the dealer. Keep taking it back until they fix it. LEMON LAW. I can tell you from experience that they ride lousy and handle horribly.

QUESTION: I would benefit greatly by your interpretation of what you feel is wrong. This way I may have a better idea as to what has gone wrong and if they cannot fix it then I'm stuck. I need your interpetation.

Also It probably would have been better to have asked your advise on this vehicle before the purchase.  I went from a guzzling GMC Envoy to a Murano that at least has an onboard digital vacuum gage allowing me to be conscious of consumption. I'm getting approximately 25% better mileage now. The ride, well it's not a Bimmer or a Mercedes so my second prize is not bad after all.

Answer
You have a tough question. I would be suspect of the trans or drivetrain. Tires wont shimmy at low speeds unless there shot. I am not trying to blow you off here but I think you need to put the burden on the dealer, its free and they can charge you anyway. Sorry
