Nissan: 1997 Maxima starting problem, starter motor, charging system

Question
Began sounding sluggish on start up.  Then intermittent no start.  Sometimes would start to turn over but stop as if the battery is dead.  Had battery and charging system checked and both check out okay.  Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Answer
Yeah. You need a new starter motor and you can only use a OEM part or it will not fix your car. There is a bulletin on this issue. You also need to clean up the grounds on the front of hte engine. IF YOU DONT USE AN OEM STARTER YOUR WASTING YOUR TIME.
