Saab: removing a motor, chevy cavalier, gm motor

Question
I have a saab 9000 sc (1994) I am removing the motor - trying to leave the trassmision in the car, but for some reason I can not get the trass. to come away from the motor. How do I pull the motor with out pulling the trass.? Please feel free to call me at 636-577-1883 or Email me with any information. I can and will call you if you would like - just Email me your phone number and I will call.

Thank you,

Answer
As I recall, I already answered this question - all experts says I didn't. I will thus make it brief - I am extremely busy at this time.
1. 94' and later has a GM motor - the modern saab, 2000 and newer is nothing but a crappy Chevy Cavalier with a pretty body. I have no working experiance and can give you no advice.

2. Based on the classic Saab 900, I have always pulled the two togather, it's just plain easier. Make sure the clutch is engaged when seperating the engine from the transmission. A piece of bailing wire can help to facilitate this.
