Suzuki: help on samurai, head gasket, voltmeter

hell i have a 87 samurai why would it be smoking white i have 150 compression new head head gasket timing at 10 new pcv o2 sensor cat could it bee from running lean i have some people say it running to lean dont use coolant or oil i really dont have a clue

New head gasket?
Was it bad, and did it leak coolant or oil into the exhaust?
It could well take fifty or so miles of highway to evaporate that out of the exhaust.
Lean will NOT cause it to smoke any color at all.
Get a voltmeter and sample the o2 sensor voltage.
The voltage will be typically between 0.2 and 0.8 volts, and usually fluctuates while it's running (it HAS to be at normal operating temp, and i suggest five miles on the highway warmed up before you sample the voltage)
low voltage is slightly lean, high voltage is slightly rich.
