Question
QUESTION: i have a 1989 samurai with the stock 1.3 l motor. it ran great then one day the starter was turning over the motor slower then usual.  my battery light came on. i changed the battery starter and alternator trying to figure out the problem. got to drive it for about 2 days with the light still on and new parts on. battery still has juice but i was driving and everything shut off and wont come on since.  no lights heater ect. nothing works i turn on the key to try to start it and nothing happens at all. my cigerette lighter dosnt even come on. what could it be?  im out of ideas please help

ANSWER: It;s probable that the battery is not being charged.  since you have a new alternator, and it still doesn't charge, it's most likely a wiring problem.  using a wiring diagram and a test light, find out where there isn't a complete circuit in the charging circuit and accompanying ground circuits.

QUESTION: YEA SEE THAT MAKES SENCE AND I PULLED THE BATTERY AND CHARGED IT AND WHEN I PUT IT BACK IN THE LIGHTS AND STUFF STILL WONT COME ON FOR SOME REASON WITH A FULLY CHARGED BATTERY.

Answer
That may well be the original reason the battery was not being charged.  it's a symptom, much like a fever is a symptom, and that's why doctors run tests, just like you will have to trace and verify why power (or ground) is not present to light the lights.
