Suzuki: hub problem, manual hubs, hub problem

how doing,i have a 91 susuki sidekick 1.6,when i lock the manual hubs on the front and engage lever to 4x4 mode, front wheels will still not engage to 4x4,any idea what might be wrong,thanks in advance

You will need to either lift all wheels off the ground, or have a second person verify whether the front driveshaft from the transfer case is turning when you engage the t-case, and whether the axles out to the wheels are turning.  If they are, possibly the hubs are sticky, dirty or corroded internally and are not engaging.  (the hubs do need to be disassembled, cleaned, inspected and lubed annually at the minimum, and most people don't do this.
