Tips on Buying Cars: new car, today is christmas, honda accord

I have bought a new 2007 Honda Accord yesterday and I have noticed a big scratch/cut in front windshield located inner side of the vehicle.  I didn't notice this damage until i have driven this vehicle home.  I was unable to bring this back on the same day since the dealer was closed.  Since today is Christmas, the dealer is closed and i won't be able to bring my car in for 3 days due to work.  What do I need to do for them to fix this problem?

Please, whatever you do...contact the dealership over the phone and speak with your salesperson. If he/she is not available, ask for their manager. As a matter of fact, speak to the sales manager regardless. You never know when you're dealing with a salesperson whom is not professional enough to make sure you're completely satisfied. So many times customers get stuck with an inexperienced job hopping salesperson!

So, tell them that you took delivery and didn't notice the imperfection until after you got it home and you're asking them how they would like to handle it, as your schedule will not permit you to return until such and such date.

Make sure you speak to someone with some authority so it is documented. In most cases, a new car franchise...especially an import will do whatever they need to do to get you straightened out before you receive your customer survey.
