Tips on Buying Cars: end of year car models, high commissions, car models

Question
hello, what happens to the unsold car models that sit on the different dealer lots as the new cars start coming in after several months.

Answer
Hi Larry.

Having answered thousand of questions on the web they all blend into the same type questions over and over, yours is a fresh one, thanks.

Dealers know when to start narrowing down inventory to allow for new model year, and at most will get stuck with but a few units.

(1) These vehicle's can be turned into demo's which allow a huge monthly mark down factor to make price come into line.

(2) Sales people will be offered special high commissions compared to selling the new arrival, you can rest assured the pro salesman will find a pigeon.

From memory I can recall twice where a dealer got stuck with one or two brand new vehicle's being 2 model years old, in both cases they were sold to buyers with blemished credit showing profit.
