The clock in your '93 Chevy pickup displays the time digitally. The radio on your Chevy pickup plays music. Both of these functions are controlled by a single fuse. As a result, if you ever lose power to both of these accessories in your Chevy truck, it means that the fuse that powers them both has blown out and needs to be replaced. Replacement time is approximately 15 minutes.
Open the hood of your '93 Chevy pickup and remove the negative battery cable with your socket set, turning the retaining bolts counterclockwise with your socket set to loosen it.
Open the fuse panel on the inside of your Chevy pickup mounted to the right of your steering wheel on the bottom of the dash.
Pull the fourth fuse on the bottom row out. This is the 15-amp fuse that controls your Chevy pickup's radio and clock. Stick the new fuse into the now-vacant slot and then put your fuse box cover back on.
Replace the negative battery cable on your Chevy pickup.
