You will need to do some research before you tint your headlights to make sure the this is legal in your state. If legal, tinting your headlights will set your vehicle apart from others. This is a simple process, and you can save a lot of money by doing it yourself.
Remove the headlight from the vehicle and clean it with soap and water. Allow the headlight to completely dry.
Place a piece of window tint over the headlight and cut it to the shape of the headlight using a razor blade. Wet the surface of the headlight with soap and water.
Remove the cover from the rear of the window tint and place the tint onto the headlight. Adjust the tint so that it is centered and flush with the edges on the headlight.
Turn the heat gun on and move it side to side, six to eight inches away from the tint until the tint is dry. Replace the headlight.
