Make Car Paint Shine

  • Wash your car thoroughly with a sponge and car soap. Wipe dry with a towel.

  • Park your car in a shady area out of the sun. Dampen a towel with water and begin to apply the car wax in a circular motion.

  • Allow the wax to dry for a little bit. A good rule of thumb is doing one side of the car at a time and beginning to remove the wax where you started waxing on each side. Use a new dry towel to circularly buff and wipe the wax off the car. Remember to clean off all the wax, even the wax that gets into car seams and cracks should be rubbed and scraped off completely.

  • Rent or purchase an air or electric buffer. Connect a soft foam car polisher pad to the buffer. Turn on the buffer and with circular motions buff your entire car again with just the polisher pad.
