Things You'll Need

  • Lug nut tool
  • Torque wrench
  • Jack and axle stands
  • Park the Audi on level ground.

  • Pry and detach the five plastic lug nut caps from the lug nuts on the wheel, using a lug nut tool.

  • Loosen, but do not remove, the five lug nuts using a torque wrench, turning them counterclockwise.

  • Raise the front or rear of the Audi (depending which tire is being changed) using a jack and axle stands.

  • Completely remove the lug nuts from the wheel.

  • Pull and slide out the damaged tire.
