Summer is here! If you plan to run around topless in some sort of Jeep or 4x4, then securing valuables should be a priority. Tuffy Security Products offers a number of tough and lockable center consoles, underseat lock boxes, and wheelwell compartments that will keep your property safe and out of the paws of opportunistic bandits.
The lockboxes bolt in place and feature cutouts to accommodate a slanted rollbar between the box and the side of the rig’s tub. The boxes also come with a weatherproof seal to keep the contents dry. The wheelwell boxes will definitely keep our tools, travel gear, and kid’s electronics safe.
Almost all of Tuffy’s secure storage compartments are easy to install, requiring some drilling and bolting in. We installed Tuffy’s wheelwell lockbox set on our Jeep project to keep our tools and travel gear safe.
The powdercoated wheelwell lockboxes are constructed with 16-guage steel and are secure enough to offer peace of mind. The 3⁄16-inch-thick boxes come with Grade 8 installation hardware, and each is fitted with a high-quality lock.
