ATS Deep Transmission Pan - Transmission Relief
If you are a person who likes to (or has to) tow heavy equipment with your Ford F-Series Super Duty, then you should look into getting an ATS deep transmission pan. These aluminum pans hold up to 5 extra quarts of transmission fluid to help keep your temperatures down while towing those heavy loads.
| The new transmission pan from ATS is a real looker.
Not only do they hold more fluid, but the fin design on the outer part of the pan will help direct airflow through the bottom area of the pan to aid in the cooling of the transmission fluid. Our guy Dustin Bowers chose the ATS deep pan for his ’06 Ford F-250, and we took the truck over to Moonshine Customs for the work.
All in all, when you purchase one of these pans, you won’t be disappointed. Not only will it help out in the long run—it will also be something cool to show your buddies!
| 1. The stock Ford trans pan was not doing what we need it to do, so it’s time to upgrade! The first thing the guys did was drain the stock pan.
Once everything was complete, Dustin drove the truck around to really get it to warm up, rechecked it for any leaks, and ensured the proper fluid level was maintained.
