Auto Insurance Claims: auto insurance, going to the doctor, doctor visits

Question
My mother was recently hit by someone and is going to the doctor.  She was hit in the state of oregon where she was living during the same weekend that she was moving up to washington state. She is seeing a doctor down in oregon (which is being paid for by the other persons insurance) and is wondering if she would have a problem with the insurance company if she moved her doctor visits to washington, closer to home?

Answer
Hi Shawn,

There is no reason that I am aware of that this should be a problem. However she should call the insurance company and tell them that she has moved and ask the what procedure should be followed to maintain continuity of treatment.

I hope this helps
