Auto body repair & detailing: Fender scuff, kia sorento, side fender

My driver side fender is scuffed right along the edge above the wheel. how can I smooth the scuff to paint it. There is also a quater size dent I would like to remove. What would be the way to do this on a KIA Sorento 2009?

NORMALLY TO DO IT RIGHT THE COSTS OF ALL THE MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT ARE NOT WORTH IT.

YOU MAY WANT TO CONSIDER PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR FOR THE DENT AND THEN
WET SANDING AND BUFFING FOR THE SCRATCHES.

THIS WOULD BE THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE WAY TO APPROACH YOUR PROBLEM. NOT ALL OF THE SCRATCHES
WILL COME OUT BUT THE END RESULT WOULD BE BETTER LOOKING THEN DOING NOTHING AT ALL.
