Auto body repair & detailing: Paint scuff., swirl remover, polishing compound

Have a black car. The fender has some white scuff marks on it from a car door. Also has some red showing because the car was red that did this. Would I be able to remove the white scuffs with polishing compound or something like scratch and swirl remover.

it's very likely you can remove at least part of it. I would start with a heavy compound, followed by swirl remover, followed by a good coat of wax. If that doesn't work, you should go see a detail shop about it, and see if they can get it out any better. Bill
