Answer
Hi Quint,

Sorry, I don't give quotes because there are too many variables and each shop will most likely charge different amounts for the same work done. The best thing would be go to a body shop and get a estimate. Most give them free of charge.

For the DIY method that I think would be easy and durable would be to use a product called POR-15 and fiberglass cloth to repair the damage. Here is a link where you can find the POR-15 product and the fiberglass mat: http://www.repaintsupply.com/

Basically, you will use the POR-15 product just like you would use fiberglass resin. Saturate the fiberglass mat with the POR-15 and then apply over the rusted out areas. Once you have the holes patched I would consider using coating the entire top with the POR-15. Once you have finished and the POR-15 is cured you can then replace the vinyl top or you can use body filler to smooth out the rusted out areas and then prime, sand, and paint according to any paint mfgr. recommendations. Hope this helps you out.
