Auto Parts: 1996 Nissan Altima, nissan altima, radiator hose

Question
I have a 1996 Altima and I can not find the part name off the internet or from the mechanic that is currently working on the car. It basically is the aluminum housing for the radiator hose that goes from the radiator to the engine. It is a water outlet, is what I have heard. Biut in order to find that part I need the name, it is the housing unit that holds the radiator hose into the motor. Hopefully you can help me!

Answer
If it is the housing that bolts to the engine and to which the radiator hose is clamped, then the industry nomenclature for that part is "water outlet."  You will sometimes find it referred to as the "thermostat housing," even when the thermostat is located elsewhere.  Now, due to the vagaries of translating Japanese into English, you may find that the dealer refers to this part by a different name, but they will also have a diagram that they can show you which will allow you to point at the part you need.
