Car Alarms: car goes dead, doing something wrong, optimum usage

Hope you can help. My car alarm kills my entire car when I disarm my car to drive. It recently started doing this, its been there times already and luckily I have been at home. I let it sit for a while maybe thinking that it would reset itself and it does, but will it be a problem later. Have you encountered this? When It goes dead, I press the arm button and all it does is give small quiet chirps, but thats it. Same thing when I press the dis arm button. Am I doing something wrong maybe?

Sounds like a power issue Chris. Not the alarm.
Check the vehicle's alternator/charging system
and of course the battery for optimum usage/output.

Once done, the alarm will act normally
if I am correct.
