Car Alarms: alarm goes off while connecting battery, negative cable, dash board

Question
Trying to install my car's battery, but the alarm goes off whenever I try to connect the negative cable. Romote can't stop it. Can't locate any valet switch. Found the theft box under the dash board at the passenger side. Don't know what to do about it. Need help to disable the alarm system.

my car is benz 88, the alarm system is STEALTH Plus Model VS-9100. Steet cleaning next Monday, hope I can receive a response soon. Thank you.

You need to pull the alarm and restore
the starter wiring if it's affected.
