I read several questions regarding 94-95 Mustangs and the simple answer was always-"turn on the key, just before it turns over and locate the spring loaded button under the dash and press untill you see the LED line on the dash etc. etc. to reset to the Valet position".  I just bought a 94 Mustang and it was shipped with the alarm blaring and the driver not knowing what to do pulled out a hot wire so now it will not start of course. The most common fix I have heard is to lock & unlock the door with the key, not the remote and it will reset. I tried that and now the battery is dead so am charging it.  So where is this reset button located?  Is there always one?  The guy I bought it from says it does not have an alarm and he bought it new!  Sure sounds like an alarm,  LOUD!
Answer -
Look around under the dash area, probably to the left of the knee, in the plastic covering the left wall.

If there is a siren going off, there is an alarm.

He may not have know it was in there if he did
not buy it at the dealer, but it was still there,
just not sold the remotes.

This guy bought the mustang new from a dealer in 1994 and I just got it from him. He swears he never heard an alarm or saw any indication that he had one!  I have two remote keys with four buttons-  lock, unlock, panic, & trunk.  I charged the battery and replced the terminal clamps etc.  I placed the hot wire back on the distribution box, stuck the key in the door and the alarm yelled again so I locked & unlocked with the key and it keep going.  Tomorrow I will look to the left of my left knee for some button. (It is still in the parking lot where it was dropped off) If that does not work I believe you previously said that there is a Purplish/Green wire that I can cut and ground to the body to disable it?  Thanks for the info!

Answer
ok, if you want to disable the factory system
locate and splice into, not cut, the
dark green/purple|-| in either door harness,
then ground the sp;iced wire to the chassis.

If it's an aftermarket alarm this would not do
it. If this is a factory issue, this will fix it.

Let me know how well you do with it.
