i hooked up an eq to the stock stereo in my car and it sounds good on radio mode, cd and aux mode does not work.All the wires are hooked up per the instructions, is there some other step i need to take?

Hi Rick,

I bet you'll find that the power to the eq is being fed by the 'power antenna' wire instead of the 'remote' wire, meaning it's not turning on unless you have it in radio mode.

Both wires are blue, which is where the confusion can come from; the blue with a white stripe is power antenna, solid blue is the remote.
