Im working on installing a stereo into a 99 Jeep Cherokee I just bought. Everything works except the antenna is not connect right. The tuner on the stereo doesn't pick anything up. How do I fix that?

Hi Kelly,

Make sure that the harness from the aftermarket stereo has its 'power antenna' wire hooked up to the incoming power antenna wire from the car so that it turns on the antenna amplifier, and puts the antenna up (if you have a power antenna.)

If the deck doesn't provide one, just use the deck's 'remote' wire.  (It will be blue).  This will cause the antenna to come up even when you're listening to a CD, but it's better than nothing.
