Car Stereos: amps, watts rms, two subs

Question
hi there, i have Mono Block Car Amplifier
1600 Watt x 1 Channel @ 2 Ohm
1000 Watts RMS x 1 Channel @ 2 Ohm
800 Watts RMS x 1 Channel @ 4 Ohm
I got 2 subs each a single voice coil 1600 watts 800 rms i wired them in parallel down to 2 ohms, my question is how should i wire my subs to the amp for best bang. At bridge or each sub at one channel or how..... thank you for your time

Answer
Hi Diego,

Based on what you've given me for the stats on your amp, your only real way to hook them up is to leave them in parallel and connect them to the one channel, giving you 1000 watts RMS pushing your two subs, which should be more than adequate.
