GMC Repair: 1995 GMC Sonoma, bolts and nuts, gmc sonoma

Question
I was involved in an accident recentlly and 2 lug studs(bolts) off of the passenger side\front rotor.  Is there another option than replacing the entire rotor?  maybe replacing the indavidual bolts...

Answer
unless there is something new that I missed, Sure you can ONLY replace the bolts. However, I would recommend that you replace ALL the bolts. reason being that you can't tell how much stress was put on the remaining bolts and nuts and they could be slightly bent, stretched or has hair line cracks in them that the naked eyee cannot see.

You would also want to have the rotor checked for any signs of damage as it also may be bent and or have hair line cracks.

If it were my vehicle, I would replace ALL the bolts and the rotor, But this is up to you. I would surely hate to have bolts and or the rotor suddenly fail doing 75 down the Interstate.
