Audio Systems: instruction manual, entry level model, allexpert

Question
I have an Eclipse CD 3402 cd receiver for my car, and I lost the instruction manual.  Is there a way to find out how to change some settings?

Answer
Without the owners manaul, this will likely be a trial and error process, as that unit appears to be too old for Fujitsu Ten to still offer the manuals for it.   :(
The manuals they offer [online] only go back through 2005.
I have looked online briefly, and can find no such
literature (specific [or even close] to your model).

*Of course (in hindsight), it would be a good idea for any and all owners to attain such E-Manuals while the manufacturer still offers them on their website, just in case you ever lose the paper ones.
They may still have them in their database (but not posted publicly), so you might want to email Eclipse Support about this. Possibly, they can still email you an owners manual for it that is not posted on the site.
Here is their support link:
techsupport@lao.ten.fujitsu.com
I used to live next door to the USA Fujitsu Ten headquarters in Oregon, and they seemed like nice fellows who may be able to help you out (if you ask real nicely).

If all else fails:
I would suggest taking it to an authorized Eclipse dealer/installer and get the specifics (and possibly some walkthroughs) from them.
Once you see how to access the different functions, it should be rather simple to deal with each options parameters.
You have their base unit (entry level model), so at least there is not a long list of options to learn.

I wish I could help you more, but I would need to see it in person.

You are welcome to re-ask this to another allexpert.

Best of luck, Gregory.

Sincerely,
Jerry Mael
