Audio Systems: 95 Ford Explorer radio problems, antenna wire, radio problems

Question
I have a factory AM/FM stereo/cd changer with premium sound in my 1995 ford Explorer.  Recently the radio stopped functioning.  The back lights come on but the stereo does not power on.  There is no display and the CD changer does not work.  I replaced the stereo when the problem began but the new stereo has the same problems.  Do you have any idea of what is going on or how to fix it?

Answer
hi:
yes i know what the problem can be
the fuse in the engine compartment  or the radio rcu is defective and needs service
that unit at from that you call a radio,is not a radio is just a remove controll unit

did you see the antenna wire when you change the radio ?? NO there was no antenna wire because that is not the radio
the radio rcu tunner box is in the back  right side next to the other amplifier and factory subwoofer the cd canger cable plugs in to this box also you have to remove the rear seat and remove the rear side panel  passanger side  but before you do all this check the fuses if you need a new jbl rcu tunner check this people  www.partydown.com
