Audio Systems: Ford Escort 94 radio wiring diagram, ford escort ghia, brown wires

Dear Cody,

I am changing my old car radio, a 2006R at a Ford Escort Ghia 1.6 from Spain. The original wiring has 2 brown wires, 1 red and 2 mixed. I have bought a Clarion with ISO connector but I don´t understand how Ford has wired my old radio. Could you tell me what is the colour coding in this case?

  ok it sounds like you made a mistake and cut off the factory plug , if you did try to wire it back on and go by a radio shack ect.. and buy a wire harness adapter this will match colors with your clarion harness then simply plug back into your factory plug, now if you cant wire the plug back on which most cases you cant .. try this website www.streetdreams.com/wires they should have a wire color diagram to help you out.. if you need anything else let me know
