Audi Repair: 2003 Audi A4 1.8t Radio Safe Lock Code, radio id, radio card

Hello, I know when the radio gets locked you need the code to unlock it.  It is found on the radio card but I lost the card since buying the card and need to get the code.  I have the car's VIN # but what other number do I need? Also, is there a way to get it without paying the dealership?  Thanks

Hi,  There are some people on the forums who can get radio codes, but I cannot.  Sometimes the dealers will charge you for the code, but if you are a regular customer they will typically help you out.  You will need the Car's VIN and possibly the radio ID number.  Let me know how you get on,  Jan
