Chevrolet Repair: AC/Heat fan, 4x4 blazer, heat fan

Hello,
I have a 1995 4x4 Blazer SE that has a problem with the heater fan. This is an intermittent problem with the fan working only part of the time. I've checked the fuses and they are all good however the fan still works randomly from day to day. When it does work the switch seems to work fine on all of the differnet speeds but when I turn the truck off the next time I start it up it doesn't work. Some times it will start working on its own while i'm driving but not very often.

Is their a rely for this fan/blower that could cause this problem or is there some thing else that you could be the problem?

It gets pretty cold this time of year in Michigan.
I would appreciate any help.

Usually the blower fan will work on HIGH blower all the time. Does it ?.

What mechanical work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.
