Chrysler Repair: Car not starting:96 Sebring Coupe, chrysler sebring, sebring coupe

Question
Hi Roland I have a 1996 Chrysler Sebring 2.5 L coupe.  I recently pulled the engine and got everything hooked up.  Now it wont start.  We replaced the solenoid but i took out 5 fuses before we pulled the engine not thinking that i would have pulled the engine ever.  Not even a click.  I'm thinking it might be the fuses causing the problem or starter relay or possibly wiring harness not hooked up right.  I dont have a fuse panel anymore so i dont know what kind of fuses go where if you have a pic of the fuse panel under the dash that would be great also.  Please i need some help im clueless on this now.

Answer
Hi Josh,
On the starter circuit, the power for the starter relay comes from the ignition switch to the relay on a black-red wire. The power for the ignition switch comes from the pink fusible link in the 5th fusible position of the fuse box under the hood. The relay is in the center console in the cabin, on the bottom right side, under the A/C control panel. If there are two relays there, the left is for the power door locks, the right is for the starter motor. When you try the start key, 12v should show on pins 1 and 5 of the relay socket, and if you have the automatic trans in park/neutral then pin 3 of the socket should be found to be grounded by that switch. The relay should click if all that is true, and then 12v will be sent across to pin 4 of the relay socket which should cause the solenoid on the starter motor to fire off. So check that over, try jumping 12v to pin 4 of the socket (to check the solenoid/motor action) and see what is missing. Let me know if you have other questions. The top three pins are 1-3, and the bottom two are 4-5
There are 5 pages from the manual which I can share by copying and postal mailing which shows the layout of the under hood and the under dash boxes. Just give me your postal mailing address.
I am working from the '95 manual which should also apply to your '96.
