Classic/Antique Car Repair: spark plugs, champion spark plug, industrial engines

Question
Hi again Dick

I am sorry but those spark plugs are  A25 champaign

Thanks Again

Answer
I didn't hear back from you, but I went ahead through the books on the assumption that you meant "Champion".  There was an A25 Champion spark plug, but there was no application in any automobile or truck that I can find.  It has a 1/2 pipe thread, which is really weird.   The only use for that plug that I can find is in industrial engines, especially those used on oil wells to run the pumps - it is designed to fire on really crude fuel.  I doubt there is any current use for it on any car.
You can try it in your model A - it might fit, but if the threads don't feel right, don't force it.  My books don't go back far enough to tell me what the right threads are for a Model A.
