Is there a requirement for a voltmeter check to replace throttle position sensor on Ford 4.2 Vy?

Yes, it will need to be in ohms, the test will need to be. I didn't really catch what the year make and model was. So what you will need to do is either grab the Haynes Vehicle repair manual from a local parts store. Or your local library should have a complete catalog index by the Mitchell Service manuals, save yourself some money and print the pages off for a dime.
